{"id":434,"date":"2025-02-04T18:31:00","date_gmt":"2025-02-04T23:31:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/treespre.uniandes.edu.co\/?p=434"},"modified":"2026-05-14T17:08:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T22:08:18","slug":"beca-para-creadores-y-periodistas-el-cine-y-las-miradas-sobre-las-diferencias-sociales","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trees.uniandes.edu.co\/en\/convocatoria\/beca-para-creadores-y-periodistas-el-cine-y-las-miradas-sobre-las-diferencias-sociales\/","title":{"rendered":"Grant for creators and journalists: film and views on social differences"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Applications are now open for the workshop <em>Cinema and views on social differences, <\/em>a space aimed at small and large content creators and influencers, <em>youtubers<\/em>, The company's members are communicators, publicists and journalists (affiliated to a media outlet or independent).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will select a maximum of 25 people who will receive a scholarship to participate in four sessions dedicated to exploring, through film, different ways of seeing, thinking and communicating social differences.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Workshop description&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop <em>Cinema and views on social differences<\/em> is a reflective, experiential and creative space. <strong>aimed at people who communicate<\/strong>, rather than moviegoers. It takes advantage of the stories, spaces, costumes and other elements of cinema to open conversations about social differences and create content based on these reflections.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>To whom it is addressed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop is for <strong>people who participate in the process of<\/strong> <strong>content creation<\/strong>, of <strong>journalistic production<\/strong>, <strong>multimedia formats<\/strong>, <strong>communication strategies<\/strong>, <strong>advertising campaigns<\/strong>. Those who wish to apply to this call do not necessarily have to address social, political or film-related issues in their practice. They should be interested in reflecting, and listening to diverse positions, on how social differences are told, represented and transmitted, not only in the films they will see, but also in the media, digital content and advertising campaigns in which they participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>What will the selected individuals receive?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A scholarship to participate in the 12-hour workshop, divided into 4 sessions of 3 hours each, organized by TREES and to be held on the campus of the Universidad de los Andes.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A certificate of completion of the workshop, issued by Continuing Education of the Universidad de los Andes.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Application requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Demonstrate that you belong to the world of communication, journalism, advertising, content creation, independently or with affiliation to a company\/media.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Availability to attend <strong>in person<\/strong> to all of the sessions of the<strong> saturday, march 15 <\/strong>at<strong> saturday, april 05<\/strong> 2025 (from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.), at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogota.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We will give priority to applicants whose main activity is communication and content creation, rather than approaching these topics from academic fields.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants should not necessarily have prior knowledge of film.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Willingness to create a journalistic or communication product that reflects the knowledge acquired throughout the workshop.
